Terms of Service — Blazing Financial Data Publisher

Effective date: 19 October 2026 • Contact: balazs.zombory@gmail.com

1. What these terms cover

Blazing Financial Data Publisher (“the application”) is private desktop software used by its author to publish finished videos to the YouTube channel Blazing Financial Data, which the author owns.

The application is not distributed, sold, or offered to the public. It has no accounts, no sign-up, and no users other than its author. These terms exist because Google asks every OAuth application to publish them, and they describe the only relationship that exists: between the author and their own software.

2. Permitted use

Use is limited to the author and to the single YouTube channel they own. The application verifies the authorized channel's identity before every write and refuses to proceed if it does not match, so it cannot publish to any other channel.

Nobody else is granted a licence to use the application.

3. What the application does

It uploads video files the author has produced, sets their metadata, thumbnail and visibility, and may post one pinned comment on the author's own video. It performs no other action on any Google service. Its handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Content responsibility

All published content is the author's own. The author is solely responsible for it and for its compliance with the YouTube Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

Published videos present data from public official sources, including the U.S. Energy Information Administration, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Federal Reserve and FRED. Nothing published is financial advice, and every video says so on screen.

5. No warranty

The application is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue or profits, arising from use of the application.

7. Third-party services

The application depends on the YouTube Data API. Its availability, quotas and behaviour are governed by Google's API Terms of Service. The author does not control them.

8. Changes

These terms may be revised. Changes take effect when published at this address with a revised effective date.
